Cookery Demonstrations

A Spanish lady who attended some of my private cookery classes in Houseworks asked me if I had heard about the Thermomix? I googled it and was amazed by the amount of people who have them in Europe, one in three homes in Spain.  Recently when I was back in Italy all my old Italian neighbours had them.

This German machine from Voerwork has been around for over 50 years. I then had a TM demonstration and despite being very sceptical (being from Ballymaloe and doing everything from scratch), I was blown away seeing its capabilities.

I immediately saw where it could be a Godsend in the kitchen, freeing you to get on with other things while it consistently got on with what ever task you set it, making sauces, soups, jams, risottos, choux pastry, grinding chick peas to Garam flour, or rice to rice flour, great for people with food intolerances.

Our Nevin Maguire has 3 and has saved a fortune in Parmesan cheese as it even grates the rind. More and more professional kitchens are buying them and as a result you will see them popping up on programmes such as the Great British Menu, Masterchef, Saturday Kitchen etc. More recently they are in Ballymaloe Cookery School and Dublin Cookery School, as many of the students who will complete their courses will come across them in professional kitchens.  I demonstrate with Thermomix in Ballymaloe Cookery school to students on the certificate course.

The Thermomix costs €1129 and there are various payment options.  It is worth every penny as it eliminates so much food waste.  It will pay for itself and you will wonder what you ever did without it.

To arrange a demonstration please email or call me.  I can demonstrate in your home or you can come to mine.  In fact if you have 3 or more friends who may be interested and they attend too you will receive a free host gift.  I am also available for commercial demonstrations in restaurant kitchens.

Please contact me so that we can arrange a mutually convenient appointment.

I then had a TM demonstration and despite being very sceptical (being from Ballymaloe and doing everything from scratch), I was blown away by this machine.

I now host regular demonstrations in the Design Yard as news of this miracle machine is spreading. Our Nevin Maguire has 3 and has saved a fortune in Parmesan cheese as it even grates the rind. More and more professional kitchens are buying them and as a result you will see them popping up on programmes such as the Great British Menu,  Heston Blumenthal, Rick Stein, Gordon Ramsey etc. More recently they are in Ballymaloe cookery school and Dublin Cookery school, as many of the students who will complete their courses will come across them in professional kitchens.

As it is a domestic machine, the warrantee is 2 years, but in a professional environment it is just 1 year.

Client Testimonial:

When I first heard about the Thermomix I thought, I don't need one of those, I have a liquidiser, I have a blender, etc. but how wrong I was. Sure it liquidises, it blends, but it does those better than anything in your kitchen, and it does so much more. Now I don't know how I'd manage without it.

And the longer you have it the more uses you find for it, it becomes a natural part of your kitchen.  Now I wonder how I ever made a bechemel, a hollandaise or even a sponge mixture with out it..
